Exposition 
In "Snot," ASH examines the unsettling but intriguing blend of decay and living beings. The main figure, a thin, wide-eyed goblin, draws attention to a larger, terrifying ecosystem. Its long, sharp teeth and wet, see-through skin highlight a constant state of hunger and wild survival. 

The figures in the background merge into a single mass of flesh and bone, reflecting ASH’s focus on bodily distortion. These "melted" faces, with their glowing, empty eyes, hint at a loss of personal identity for a shared, parasitic way of life. The title, "Snot," removes the grandeur often found in high-fantasy monsters. It connects the horror to the ordinary, slimy fluids of the body. This suggests that these creatures are not just "monsters," but the living waste and illness of their surroundings. 

The artist’s use of thick brush strokes adds a tactile quality to the piece, making the slippery textures of the creatures feel alarmingly real to the viewer.
